CFP:10th Edition of the Psychology National Research Symposium – June 2019 (DL: 15/3/2019)

The abstract submission’ period for the 10th Edition of the Psychology National Research Symposium (X SNIP – X Simpósio Nacional de Investigação em Psicologia) was extended until March 15th, 2019.

We remind you that the event is taking place at the University of Madeira from the 27th until the 29th of June.
The process of accepting the abstracts will be done weekly, which is why we encourage everyone to submit the abstracts with plenty of time. The sooner you submit, the sooner you can plan your trip!

As in previous events, papers submitted and accepted after blind peer review will be published in the journal PSICOLOGIA, indexed by Thomson-Reuters and SCOPUS / Elsevier. As it is already customary in this event, it will be awarded the Career Research Award in Psychology and Young Psychology Research Fellow, as well as the SNIP 2019 Best Poster Award.

The organising committee is working with great expectation and enthusiasm to offering you a high-quality event and a unique experience at the University of Madeira throughout 3 intense days of sharing and exchange of scientific knowledge and network development.

Similar to previous editions this event aims to bring together, in a single space, researchers and professionals who give a contribution to the ongoing development of Psychology as a science and a profession. It is a space for enrichment and dialogue where experiences and work will be shared in the most varied formats and through the submission of your symposium proposals, oral communications or posters. Your involvement is essential in order for an event of quality and scientific rigour and we look forward to your ideas and proposals!

For the first time ever this event will be held in Madeira Island, known as the Atlantic Pearl. Therefore, the environment surrounding this scientific event is a different and unique space with a sub-tropical climate, renowned gastronomy and magnificent landscapes between the sea and the mountains, anticipating something that we are sure you will not want to miss.

There are reduced prices for the Portuguese Psychology Association’ members, Portuguese Psychologist Order’ Members, students and unemployed people.
