Per October Herman Paul, Professor of the History of the Humanities at Leiden University, will join the Governing Board. His research interests include historiography, philosophy of history, religious history and memory studies. Herman is currently directing the VICI project “Scholarly Vices: A Longue Durée History.” The new Alumni Guide features an interview with him about this large research project (pages 104-105), in which also Huizinga members Hidde Slotboom, Edurne De Wilde and Anne Por are involved as PhD candidates.
