Call: Organise a Huizinga Institute activity (e.g. masterclass, workshop) on ReMa/PhD level

The Huizinga Institute offers Research Master students and PhD candidates, as well as senior members, the opportunity to organize masterclasses, workshops, or other activities on a subject of their choosing within the field of cultural history. For examples, see our page on organising activities.

We are able to support several applications in this call and are looking for activities ranging from half a day to two days (maximum 3 ECTS). Events preferably take place in the academic year 2026-2027 or the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026. Student organizers are also eligible to earn ECTS credits.

To submit your proposal, please fill out the application form that can be downloaded here, and send it to coordinator Felix Bosch ([email protected]) by 1 October 2025. Felix is also available to discuss options and answer questions. Proposals will be reviewed by the Huizinga Institute’s Programme Team. Applicants will receive a response before 15 November 2025.
