The Medieval Animal Data (MAD) network invites submissions for 3 panels we are organising at the 2026 International Medieval Congress in Leeds (July 6-9, 2026):
- Travelling Species: Animals Moving in Different Contexts
- Protecting Animals
- Bequeathing and Inheriting Animals
Submissions are welcome to but need not necessarily connect to the overarching ‘Temporalities’ theme of the 2026 IMC.
Panels will be in hybrid format, meaning that speakers who cannot travel to Leeds may present their paper via Zoom.
