PhD online Meet-up: ‘Working from home – staying motivated and in touch’

The corona-measures probably still have a big impact on your work environment. The Huizinga Institute is organising an informal online meet-up for PhD candidates in which you can exchange experiences and tips & tricks, brainstorm about solutions, and just get in contact with each other:  ‘Working from home – staying motivated and in touch’

While working from home for over a year now, many PhDs experience feelings of isolation and miss regular contact with colleagues. How do you feel? What can you do to stay motivated and support your mental health, and what kind of support is offered? How can you stay in touch with fellow PhD candidates on a regular basis? You will exchange experiences and share tips & tricks. The session will have an informal atmosphere and can be used to explore further initiatives and activities, such as a regular Shut Up and Write!-group. The session is guided by Dr Erika Kuijpers (VU). It is not a workshop, but a safe space to talk to each other.
