On 29 September, 16:00, Lucas van der Deijl will defend his PhD thesis A New Language for the Natural Light. Translating the New Philosophy in the Dutch Early Enlightenment (1640-1720). The defence will take place at the University of Amsterdam, in the Agnietenkapel (Oudezijds Voorburgwal 229 – 231), and can also be followed online. The supervisors are prof. dr.
