On 31 January 2025 at 14:00, Lotte van Hasselt defended her PhD thesis, entitled: ‘Deserving Refugees? The Evolution of a Concept in the Dutch Republic (1570-1730s)’. The defence took place at the Aula of the University of Amsterdam (Singel 411). Promotores are prof. dr. G. H. Janssen and prof. dr. M. van Gelder.
