Dear members of the Huizinga Institute,
With the PhD Core Course 1 starting this March, gathering a new generation of PhD candidates to the Huizinga Institute, we think it is a great opportunity to organise a social event for all members to (re)connect.
On the 29th of the March, after the 5th CC1 session, you are welcome to visit with us the temporary exhibition organised by the Centraal Museum of Utrecht entitled “The Bentvueghels”. The Bent members were artists coming from Northern and Southern Netherlands who got together in Rome in the Seventeenth Century. After the visit of the exhibition, there will be drinks at De Rechtbank (entrance ticket will be reimbursed and drinks are offered by the Huizinga Institute)
The program of the day will be as following:
- 15:00 Exhibition visit: The Bentvueghels at Centraal Museum, Agnietenstraat 1, Utrecht
- 17:00 Drinks at De Rechtbank, Korte Nieuwstraat 14, Utrecht
Please register for the event at huizinga@uu.nl. If you are not able to attend the exhibition you are still very welcome to come for drinks. We look forward to seeing you there!
We hope to see many of you in Utrecht on the 29th of March !
Best regards,
The PhD/ReMa-council
